Hello,

Tatyanna Taylor is a Chicago-based visual storyteller, graphic artist, and designer. She currently studies Graphic Design and African-American Studies at Saint Xavier University.

She has a broad range of digital media experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as the Procreate software for iPad. She works for private and professional clients, even during quarantine.

Tatyanna’s creative work is about racial injustice in the Black community. Her art addresses discrimination that words cannot fathom: police brutality, killings, wrongful convictions, and racism. She is fascinated by stories and images that carry deep meanings through the lens of cultural history.

In 2019, Tatyanna took a DNA test that would change her life forever. She has applied what she learned about her own heritage to educate others about the power of cultural identity. Her digital illustration and photography are on permanent display at Beverly Arts Center and The Little Company of Mary Hospital.

Tatyanna is part of the Artbreakers Art Club and Emerging Scholars Program that promotes the retention and academic success of African-American students at Saint Xavier University. She is pursuing a summer internship, and setting up her own online shop.
